Perisex, also referred to as endosex or dyadic refers to the state of having been born with and naturally developed sex traits typically associated with male or female biological sexes, it is an antonym to intersex, and is used to talk about intersex issues whenever non-intersex individuals are mentioned. This term is important for the same reason the word cisgender is important when speaking about transgender issues.
