The Alloy Alignment System is a group of genders which are designed for individuals to describe their gender with metals from the periodic table.

History

The term Alloy Alignments and the majority of its genders were coined by Hail on or before December 1st 2018 on the Tumblr blog lgbt-alchemy.[1]

The blog was taken over by Tired who reworked the system's definitions and also added two new genders to the system on December 19th 2019, the terms Tired added were Cro and Mana.[3]

The flags for the majority of the terms were created by Hail on or before December 1st 2018[1], the flags for Cro and Mana were created by Tired on or before December 19th 2019.[3]
