Deadboycoric is a -coric xenogender identity for individuals that identify as a rotting corpse, living dead boy, or a reanimated boy.[1]
Possible Interpretations
Deadboycoric is/can be a gender that is:
- affected by possible delusions, such as Cotard's syndrome;
- has the characteristics of feeling dead, feeling like a rotting corpse, a zombie, etc.;
- feeling like a reanimated dead body, while being/feeling like a boy;
- centered around zombiecore and boy aesthetics;
- an expression of masculine gender whilst feeling dead.
History
Deadboycoric was coined by Tumblr user Graveboywalking on the 9th of January, 2024.[1]

The deadboycoric flags were created by Tumblr user Graveboywalking on the 9th of January, 2024. The flags have ten stripes total. The color black represents death itself, red representing the blood and goriness of death, brown representing the decay and rot of the body, grey representing the grey appearance of corpses, green representing moss, mold, and the earth that grows around the grave one rises from, and white representing the purity of the life that was lost.[1]
