Sciencegender, or Scigender, is an umbrella term for xenogenders related to science.[1][2] It includes umbrellas such as technogender, astrogender, mathgender, and linguistingender.[3]

Sciencegender is/can be a gender that is:

- Only present when in the presence of scientific concepts.
- Has the characteristics of scientific concepts.
- An expression of a scientific aesthetics, such as stars, robotics, and computing.

History
Sciencegender was coined on the 6th of April, 2019, by Mogai-Watch as a categorizing term for MOGAIpedia.[2] On the 27th of September, 2020, the alternate name, scigender, was coined by Mod Em of mogai-monarchs on Tumblr.[3]
