Binarian or binary-aligned is an umbrella term for anyone whose gender is aligned with one or both of the binary genders.
For instance:
- One may be man-aligned, woman-aligned, or both.
- One might also be masculine-aligned, feminine-aligned or both.
- Someone who is binarian may also experience other abinary genders, as long as they are also aligned with a binary gender.
History
The term was coined by Tumblr user conformant-archive on October 14th of 2020, alongside the flag. The flag has no meaning. [1]
