Usage and Parameters

This is a template to create a pre-formatted infobox for use on orientation pages. Only fill in fields that are specified by the orientation. For example, don't set the 'genders' parameter to "Any" for bisexual, since bisexual never explicitly specifies the genders of the bisexual individual. Another example, don't set the 'system' parameter if the orientation is not part of an orientation system.

Template parameters

This template prefers block formatting of parameters.

title	title	The title of the flag that is set in this template, otherwise this defaults to the page title. Example Bisexual	String	optional
image	image	The file name of the orientation's most well known flag. Example Bisexual.png	File	optional
orientation	orientation	The possible orientation types of the term. Usually this is "any", unless it's specifically coined otherwise, or is an orientation type with its own page, such as asexual. Default Any Example Sexual	String	required
prefix	prefix	The prefix of the orientation. Example Bi-	String	optional
pronunciation	pronunciation	The IPA written pronunciation of the prefix. If there are no differences between the American and British pronunciation, use this parameter over the other pronunciation parameters. Example tɛst	String	optional
pronunciationUS	pronunciationUS	The IPA written American pronunciation of the prefix. Example ɪɡˈzæmpəl	String	optional
pronunciationGB	pronunciationGB	The IPA written British pronunciation of the prefix. Example ɪɡˈzɑːmpᵊl	String	optional
umbrella	umbrella	The umbrella of the orientation. Please only include one, as the template converts this to a category link. Example Mspec	String	optional
system	system	The system of the orientation. Please only include one, as the template converts this to a category link. Example The Eggsexual System	String	optional
format	format	The GxG format of the orientation. Example F/NB x F/NB	String	optional
genders	genders	The genders of the individual that the orientation is for, in plural form. Not to be confused with the genders that the individual is attracted to. Example Men	String	optional
attractionto	attractionto	The genders the orientation specifies attraction to, in plural form. Example Women	String	optional
