Fempunk is a gender that is feminine but unrelated to being a female individual, in turn also rejecting society's definition of female.[1]

History
The term fempunk and its flag were created by Tumblr user moth-bxy. A high-resolution version of the flag was created by Tumblr blog genderthaumiel on August 30, 2020.[1]
A simplified version of the fempunk flag was created by Tumblr blog aroaesflags on January 30th, 2021.[3]
