Gendermirror is a xenogender and an expecgender that refers to individuals whose gender mirrors that of individuals they have an important relationship with.citation needed
This relationship can be platonic, romantic, or another type of relationship. Some examples could include:
- Someone having a deep connection with someone who identifies as transgender; as they might have realized they are transgender from that person.
- Mirroring the gender of an idol they admire.
- Mirroring the gender of their romantic partner or friend.
After breaking the bond/relationship with the person who was mirrored, some gendermirror individuals may become "mirrorless" until they find someone else of high importance to them. Others may continue mirroring the gender regardless of the lost bond.
Possible Interpretations

- Affected by the gender of someone important to them.
- Connected to external gender sources.
