Ceterosexual (also known as allotroposexual[1][2], enbysexual[1], idemosexual[3], medissosexual[4]) is an orientation referring an individual who is exclusively attracted to non-binary and genderqueer individuals.

This term was previously known as skoliosexual.[5][2]

History and Controversal Usage

Ceterosexual’s history as an alternate term to skoliosexual is relatively unknown, the coiner is believed to not be known but has existed in some form since at least August 2015.[6][7]

Skoliosexual was first coined/mentioned by Deviantart user Nelde sometime in 2010 via a diagram explaining sexual attraction.[5] It was claimed the prefix ‘Skolio’ meant queer in Greekcitation needed, however it can be translated as ‘crooked’ or ‘bent’ hence its controversial nature.

Due to the nature of the original prefix meaning ‘bent’ or ‘crooked’ several alternate terms have been created such as:

The prefix ‘Cetero’ means ‘other’, ‘also’ or ‘remainder’.

Flags

The first known flag for skoliosexual was made by Deviantart user SavvyRed on October 15th 2013.[15] It was also later used as the Ceterosexual flag.[6]

There have been several alternate Ceterosexual flags, a common one is the alternate designed by Deviantart user Pride-Flags on August 17th 2015.[7]

Another flag was designed by an anonymous on or before July 9th 2016, it was posted via Deviantart user Pride-Flags.[17]
