Alico (orientation)
Alico, also known as agno, is an orientation prefix describing an individual who knows their attraction lies within the a-spectrum, but their orientation does not fit any existing a-spectrum label. It can also refer to an a-spec individual who has not yet figured out which label fits them best. The prefix alico- derives from the Latin word alicubi, meaning somewhere, anywhere, or elsewhere.[1]
As an example, an alicosexual individuals knows they are on the asexual spectrum, but they do not fit any existing ace-spec label.
History
Agnoromantic and alicosexual was coined on the 17th of January, 2021, by wiki user Kudorix.[2][3][4][5] Alicoa/alicoaroace was coined by wiki use Viridi on the 28th of November, 2022.[6]
