Acri- is an orientation prefix describing individuals who experience attraction, but that experience feels unnatural or wrong, as though it should not happen to them.
The variant neuroacri- is the same as acri-, but specifies that the individual's feelings of discomfort are due to neurodivergence.

History
The acri- terms were coined by Tumblr user pastelmemer on or before November 14, 2018. On November 14, 2018, the acri- terms were posted by Tumblr user mogaiheaven, who also coined the flags.[1]
The neuroacri- terms and their flags were coined by Tumblr user genderplaylist on November 15, 2018. Neuroacri is derived from the orientation prefixes neuro- and acri-.
On September 5, 2019, Tumblr user lgbtqia-pride-icons coined alternate flags for all of the acri- and neuroacri- terms.[3]
