Abrogender
Abrogender is a form of genderfluidity with two possible definitions:
- Someone whose gender is constantly changing to the point that they cannot pin it down.[1]
- Someone whose gender has so many tiny and/or nuanced aspects to it that they are constantly rediscovering it.[1]
History
Abrogender was possibly coined by Tumblr user Telescopephil.[1] It was coined possibly sometime in or before 2015.[2][3]
Flags and Symbols
The abrogender flag was designed by Tumblr user uncommongenders on or before January 16, 2018. It has no confirmed meaning.[1][4][3]
Etymology
The prefix "abro" comes from either the Ancient Greek word ἁβρός (habrós) or its descendant in Modern Greek αβρός (avrós). Both mean "graceful" or "delicate."
