Oxigender is a gender umbrella for individuals who identify as a main gender, a second but still significant gender, and a third gender, which is small and slightly more insignificant than the others.[1][2] It uses the prefix Oxi-, taken from the word 'paradoxical', though the relation between this word and the gender is unknown.[3]
Colloquially, oxigender can be defined as "feeling mostly X, partially Y, and a little bit of Z".
History
Oxigender was first mentioned on the Oxigenders blog September 17th, 2020. Its creator is Mod Null.
The blog that coined the term and various subgenders has been met with various criticisms due to the blog being openly cisphobic and heterophobic.[4] There are many terms that have been recreated, either due to change of term entirely or potential duplicate creation from lack of official record.
