Alexmo- is an orientation prefix which refers to those who experience alexithymia and struggle to understand or describe their orientation as a result.
The etymology is unknown but is likely to come from the Greek ἀ- “a” which means “not” and λέξις “léxis” which means “words” as is the etymology of Alexithymia.
History
Alexmosexual and Alexmoromantic were coined by Tumblr user synpa-tee on June 18th 2021.[1]
